In my experience what I found was I regularly won more when it was local pools against local players, and for me to win a lot in the Aus pools against the Aussie punters that know a lot more than us, I have to really get "lucky" rather than being able to surely say I'm gna bank an odds on horse and still win a decent amount. I dont like playing to win a 10 or 20% return, and so much risk. This has made me stop playing the Aus jackpots and go only for quick mix when it comes to Aus multi race exotics, but maybe I have been wrong in my assessment and should start playing them again?
Aus Harness racing Commingled Jackpots at the moment is a big NO. The pools are small and not worth it even if outsiders win. As you indicated the Quickmix Morning Jackpot is a better option. I have caught Aus Flat Commingled Jackpots but the biggest win was 8k.
I don't know hey Naresh.
Bathurst yesterday....
1.50...4.40...6.70...9.20 paid R896
banker 5 horses 5 horses 5 horses more than 10 times your outlay.
You have to look at it holistically, the bigger picture. Yesterday at Bathurst the most the Jackpot could have paid R3850. That is no value in my opinion to chase a pool of R3850 when other Aus players are also playing into the pool. I have played Jackpots in other Foreign Venues when not commingled to win/scoop the pool of R5000 as Thor explained we are playing against our own punters from South Africa. Todays Kilmore pool most you can win is 28k and at Penrith is 5.1k.
The best value of the exotics is in Singapore because of the commingling especially the Pick 3.
Best value at the mone

What a disaster Kilmore race 6.
False start then a horse throws itself down at the second start.

Naresh it all comes down to the amount you play.
I'm happy 10 times my money and I'm not really going for the tens of thousand payouts but obviously plenty punters are going for a big payday and like you said maybe these Australian jackpots are not the way to go for those type of punters.

Previously with local pools it was easier to make money due to information assymetry. On local pools many punters were guided by tabtotesheet which in some cases tip a 20/1 as fav. I remember one Bathurst jackpot that paid more than R120 but Amanda Turnbull rode 3 odds on fav and 2 of those were not even tipped on tabtotesheet. I surely missed those days. But still i find them profitable and worth a punt as i sometimes take risk' the most important thing is deciding to banker and have feelers for upset races. I dont think a day will end for me without laying a harness Jackpot bet & Quickmix.

...and again the type of play matters, are you risk taker. This Qmix yesterday paid 40 times.

There are several flat and Harness meetings tomorrow and guess what, there's NO Trifecta and Quartet betting offered on any of them.
Rather keep my money in the pocket, no need to get involved in anything tomorrow.
Fairview POLY...….eish.
I miss the old Arlington days and Bumpy calling them home with excitement in his voice.

Pity they dont listen and the hate for trots for them is unimaginable. Its their time to rule. They would rather float a TAB ad/ Summer Cup screen banner than screen a live trots race. Thats the worst i have seen.
Then on Tellytrack 4 they show the results banner for races for more than necessary rather than race build up. They only bring live pic when the race has started. I surrender!!!
If you watch Sky 1; they offer 3 racing codes and you see real professionalism from organised racing channel prepared to feed customers with live images & any crucial updates like protests. They always prioritise races and any clash they split screen or move race immediately to Sky 2.

Shocking if true, considering we had a successful day on Wednesday with full bouquet of betting options the whole morning for two harness venues, and the pools were great.

My Pdf download of the Tabform for
Bathurst done yesterday still showing
Win/place/exacta betting all races.........
However today's download has included ....Trifecta/ Quartet.....Races
4-8.
The compiler of the Tabform having to go back and decide which venues will have these bet types the next day?
Strange.
