Just stating the facts, jews are permitted, Israeli's are not. I am a bit of both, so would not pee on them. I am sure that many will be funking that Israel qualify for the event, however unlikely that might be it will be brilliant in seeing the Quatar reaction. I reckion Israel should do what many of these Islam states have done with swimmers and runners who they import to race under there banner. Eff me but how can an Ethiopian run for a muslim state.

Come on Chaim Ronaldo, Lieron Messi and Shimon Gerrard ( yes I know they wont be around in 2022) but Roman Abromovitch will be and hopefully he will get his Chelsea stars Israeli citizenship !

Lets be real for a moment, Russia is well known as a racist country and I have seen many a documentary about how foreigners and non whites are targeted by gangs and how the police turn a blind eye to this. In fact the police are known to be part of this racist brutality. Corruption and Mafia style business is part of every day life, I mean when the farken prime minister used the one of the head honcho's of the KGB then its pretty obvious how things work there. They are ranked the 22nd most corrupt nation out of 176 countries in the latest world corruption index. Just to compare, South Africa were ranked 80 places better than the Ruskies.

I don't have to tell you guys the story about the crooks that FIFA are, I mean SA experienced it first hand. Against this backdrop it sounds like a match made in heaven!

The only thing I'm finding incomprehensible in this whole fiasco is how pathetically naive England were to even think they had a snow balls chance in hell of competing against this partnership. But no, England didn't just think they had a small chance, they somehow convinced themselves they were past the post and simply had to collect the trophy and take it back to the arrogantly named home of football, Wembley. These twits actually believed that sending over the PM, future King and brain dead Becks to shake a few hands, smile, give a few heart warming speeches would melt FIFA hearts and do the trick. England's reaction to their loss however has not been one of expectation, or gracious defeat. Rather it is has been one of shock, disbelief, finger pointing and crying foul.

What they just haven't been able to accept is that they only have themselves to blame for being so far off the pace. With their head so far up their own arse they kept telling themselves and everyone else how they most deserve to host the SWC. England's bid was one comical disaster after another with the head, Lord Triesman having to resign with his cheating stories, bid ambassador Lineker also resigning and the national broadcaster the BBC making allegations about the very voters they were hoping to win over 2 days before the big decision.

It all just smacks of poor management, poor planning and a complete lack of appreciation about how things work in Fifa's world. If I was head of the bid I would have simply have gone to Septic Bladder and all his cronies and would have simply asked how many 0's need to be in the brown paper bag. Its as simple as that!

In respect of Qatar, the less said the better!

@c n c:

'The UK, the US and Israel..'

Picked up on The Times comments:

America has 12 years to invade and seize control of Qatar. Then they can host the WC after all.

Lol!

@cnc:

'and is'nt a sick little World we live in due to the people we have living on this planet.' ?

Previously, it was all about diamonds, butter, gold, spices, et al.

Now, it's funding arms and ammunitions manufacturers, oil/gas, WMD, indiscriminate & suicide bombings, drones, and even talk of nuclear war!

Who the f... are they to make this world so unsafe and subject us to body searches, phone tapping, detentions, extra-judicial murders, etc?

Aren't we quiet happy as punters....one big, at extreme odds, family;.... but, no WMD, etc?

@cnc:

and, WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?

This haste & urge to wipe themselves off the face of earth.... even shake the earth! They already bombed old man moon and left him a bit shaken up!

Even the resilient Durban cockroaches and Parktown 'prawns' are more than worried!

Still puzzled how qatar are going to hold the world cup? are they going to host 12 stadiums in a country the size of London?

Qatar sounds like Blatter maybe thats why they got the bid!
