Talk about talking your team down - I heard the Captain talking on 702 and he said they had a new team and had NO chance of beating Spain - I wonder if his name is Strydom?

i watched the england vs italy game and i was very impressed with the way the italians controlled the pace of the game.pirlo was masterful and even tho england played well at stages, they were just beaten by a better team on the day.

this group is now wide open with the shock win of costa rica over uruguay.very glad that ivory coast beat japan to give he african continent its 1st win of this world cup.looking forwad to to watch how argentina play today because they are the team iv backed to win this world cup.

Draw,would have been fair..
But you have to ask "why is England's best left back not in the squad"
Baines looked out of place and Rooney lacked the defensive ability to help him.,majority of Italy's good attacks were down England's left side.
I can't see Ashley Cole giving that Italian so much space and time to cross a pinpoint ball to Balotelli for the winner.
That apart, thought Sterling had a very good game.
