You would never say this is the same Dutch team that thump Spain 5 - 1, all credit to Australia, they should have been ahead on the scoreboard in all honesty.

Holland cannot win this World Cup...too dependent on 1/2 players with all the others passing the ball back and the defence is being pressured by the Aussies pushing up...and even when Holland get the ball into the Australian half, only Robben is looking to go forward...

Who would have thought that Australia would have so much possession ?? !! :S

The Dutch have under-estimate Australia, they will get a real tongue lashing at half time, you will see a different approach from them in the second half. I don't have any money on any market in this match, so I have no axe to grind, just the way I think things will pan out.

Agreed that they will go on and win the game but in more important matches, they cannot go into a lull as they have in this match and the lack of go forward from anyone bar Robben will hurt them...van Persie is unlikely to pick the ball up from his own half so they need other players to step up...and their left wing is poor, Sneijder's given the ball away too much, and the back three seem unable to move the ball out of defence when pressured...
