Just waiting to hear more excuses from Wenger, and how he is happy how they fought back from 3-0 down... just hope somebody in the interview questions him - Why the F@#K where you 3-0 down in the first place??? It was not Bayern or Madrid etc...

he started with two teenagers in the back 4. How can he go to Stoke and do that as he knows that they will have a tall physical approach. Wenger just does not learn and he is responsible for this as he should have bought more defenders. But unfortunately he is safe and secure in his job for this and another two seasons so it will be the same again. He will complain about the sending off. Its going to be a long and hard winter coming up and as you say they will only be finishing around 7th or 8th this season.

And a defensive midfielder. Arteta and Flamini imo is good for a mid table team/bottom table. But you will never ever win major titles with them in thosr positions. I know it is probably just by chance, and in honesty they should have won, but look at Chelsea. They signed a world class def mid (Matic) , if i am not mistaken its the 1st game he hasnt played and they let in 2 goals.... just shows what a diff it makes and it can actually make a very average defender look decent...

Wenger had the chance to resign Fabregas because he had first option on him. His ecuse was that he has players in the same position. hahaha what a joke. If he had Fabregas Arsenal would not be as low as they are today. He is lucky that they are away in Turkey in the week but come next Monday when they are at home to Newcastle the fans are going to let him know that its time to go.

Chelsea had first option on Madtic because he played for them before and they obviously took up the option. Wenger hates to take players back who left (except Henry) Viera and Gilberto wanted to come back a season after they left but he said no because he is an arrogant old fool.

sorry agra but I forgot that you support United as you, like the rest of them, have been missing since they were humbled by Leicester 5-3 and I thought that you have started supporting Chelsea like most of the them have. :)

@cnc...guess your experiences shape your thinking...the Man Utd "supporters" in the UK (one's you exposed to) are probably a lot more fickle than those elsewhere in the world...we in SA are a bit more stoic in our support even if not always vocal... :)

I've supported Amazulu here in SA from 1985 through some really bleak days as they get relegated, get promoted, get relegated, get promoted...more up and down movements than a yo-yo !!!

And a United support since 1983...FA replay win against Brighton...

But, in the end, I just like to watch a good attacking game of football even if Amazulu or United are not playing...

Now imagine if Brighton had won the first match against United in 1983 . It finished 2-2 but Brighton should have won with the last kick in extra time when their striker missed an absolute sitter. If he had scored then there would never had been a replay and you could well be supporting another club today

We didn't have a television so I didn't watch the original match but watched the replay at a neighbour's home...

Don't know how it would have turned out as the replay was the first exposure I had to a English soccer match...guess if there was no replay, I would not have had a Man Utd match to watch as first game...remember I was 7 at the time so wouldn't have taken much to impress / influence me... :)

Those days if the final was a draw they would have extra time and if there were no winner then the match would be replayed on the following Thursday evening. There were a good few replays in the 80s and the 90s. Nowadays its straight to penalties after extra time. FA Cup draw comes out today with all the clubs involved.

I must have watched the mid-week match then...if it didn't happen, don't know when first view of English soccer would have been !!
