MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Liverpool are unbeaten in all five previous meetings, all cup matches (W3, D2).
The Reds won 2-0 at Bournemouth in the fourth round of last season's FA Cup, Victor Moses and Daniel Sturridge with the goals.
Two of the three cup ties hosted by Bournemouth have finished level after 90 minutes.
Bournemouth
The Cherries are appearing in the League Cup quarter-final for the first time in their history.
Eddie Howe's men beat Premier League opposition in the last round, knocking out West Brom 2-1 at the Goldsands Stadium. It ended a run of 16 games without a victory over a top-flight side in the League Cup (D6, L10).
Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last 12 games in all competitions, scoring 32 goals in the process.
The Cherries have scored in all but two of their 25 games in all competitions this season, while also keeping 11 clean sheets.
Dan Gosling has scored four goals and provided one assist in four League Cup games this term.
Liverpool
Liverpool have never lost in 10 Capital One Cup matches (in normal & extra time) against sides from lower divisions (W7, D3).
This is only the second time Liverpool have reached the League Cup quarter-finals in seven seasons; on the other occasion (2011-12) they went on to win the competition.
Since the last round, Liverpool have won only two of 11 matches in all competitions (D3, L6).
The Reds have kept just one away clean sheet in 11 games this campaign.
