@cnc.. There was no need to delete that post as I totally get what you are saying.. All those decisions you mentioned made by refs have probably contributed to our success in some way.. But Saying that we haven't got the rub of the green this season and refs aren't in our pocket anymore, there are decision this season that have gone our way and they have been against big teams.. Against Chelsea, losing 1-0, ivanovic gets a ridiculous red card, we end up equalising in the last minute against 10man chelsea.. Mata's obvious offside goal against Liverpool, we won that game.. Struggling against Aston Villa, 1-0 down and agbonlahor gets a silly red that was never a red, we end up salvaging a draw against 10men villa.. All decisions which would have seen us being called cheats and buying refs, one difference than previous seasons though, we aren't title contenders and those decisions have little bearing on what's been a dismal season, but had we been a better a team and capitalised on those decisions and been in a title winning position, trust me, those decisions would have been well documented especially seeing that they were against big clubs and "six pointers".. I still feel we get decisions, like any other club, we just aren't good enough at the moment to take advantage of them.. Barcelona gets the decisions, they sed to be paying UEFA, we have heard this, especially under the reign of Guardiola in 2009.. it should have been a chelsea vs man utd final but poor refereeing cost chelsea and barca went through to the final.. Barca went on to win it against us, but even if they got there on getting the calls against chelsea, that barca was one of the best teams ever and giving credit where its due, they deserve all the success they achieved and were to achieve in the years that followed, uefa being in their pocket or not.. man utd too have had great squads over the years and I think the team deserves credit where its due..
