@cnc...well done to the team you support in Italy...just difficult to follow the teams you support in other leagues and sport as you seem more anti certain teams than for any one team !! :P

He is not a supporter, supporters go to games home and away.
Chicken is a fan, like most fans they are brainwashed to dislike successful teams..
15 years ago Chelsea were not as disliked (spurs aside)by as much as they are now.Ask Engles,United only really started being disliked(Liverpool aside) by the masses when they started winning everything.
I don't know if I'm in the minority, but I support every English team in Europe except Arsenal,I just think it's a wasted space having them in CL and their fans get right on my nerves.
Just a pity theirs no gooners on here to wind up.

Dave answer honestly please are u one of those that just turn on the tv to check results or read the newspaper the next day cause if u watch the football that arsenal play its brilliant to wtch most of the time.Yes the score may not always reflect it.Im no expert but I love watching them play and I admire Wenger for not splashing out on the so called super star players but buys these youngsters and really develops them.hope im not gonna b one of people u hate cos im just a fan but im all the way here in s.a and cud neva afford to b there for every game.I most definitely agree with u tht it does become frustrating watching year in and year out at cl and knocked out early bec I believe they have so much potential.

Just proves that you don't know much about football DTF when you say that Arsenal are a waste in the CL. Without the Russian money Chelsea would be in the Conference as we all know that they were on the verge. Arsenal are the classiest club in the UK. Everybody with a semblance of a brain can tell you that. Arsenal have been done many times in the CL by poor ref decisions. I have been to almost every PL ground over the years. I have been to juve, but I don't go any longer as I would hate to be kicked off a train by Chelsea fans, especially in a foreign country.

Having played the game at a reasonable standard, having a son who is at a academy of a PL club and having coached a bit myself,to say I don't know much about football is an insult.
Have a look at your little project/competition and tell me how you judge a player, answer is very badly.
Now your blaming referees on Arsenals failure in Europe, just as you blamed refs for Uniteds dominance. What do you mean that Arsenal are the classiest, please explain that one.
George Graham banned from football for taking bungs.
Tony Adams sent to prison for drink driving and smashing he's car around a lamppost
Ian Wright did time for non payment of fines.
Paul Merson nicked for taking cocaine.
Paul Davis banned for braking players jaw with off the ball punch.
Arsene Wenger reacts to best manager in the world and shoves him through jealousy.
The name escapes me,but player even did time for nicking peoples luggage at heathrow.
I didn't have to google those facts, they are in one of my brain cells, that you think I'm lacking.

Mr.P, I watch a lot of football. To much according to the wife.If you re-read my original post,I gave a view about Arsenal in the Champions League.Cant remember saying that they are shite to watch in PL.
Anyone in the top half of Chickens tournament will tell you that Arsenal are a waste of time in CL,entirely down to the classy Mr.Wenger.
They try to play like Barcelona of 8 years ago without the same quality, any half decent team will go through at their expense.

So you have coached but you have a go at Wegner a manager who has won 2 doubles plus a league plus 3 other FA Cups and not forgetting coaching a side to a 49 unbeaten run includeing going an entire season unbeaten. Arsenal 13 titles Chelsea 5. Chelsea only starting beating Arsenal when the Russian and his rubbles arrived. 18 successive years in the Champions League. Not bad at all. At Arsenal they do everything the right way. Yes Graham took a bung (he was unlucky to be caught) and some of the players were out of order.

So what if my fantasy league side is at the bottom. You would not be that far ahead of me for the fact that Augerio alone is responsible for 250 of your points. I chose my team, just like everyone else thinking that the players choosen can score the points. Who knew that Toure would have an off season plus the fact he played in the African nations and missed 6 matches. Who knew that RVP would be so shit this season. We all have excuses but you must had to have a go at my team. Phew you just cant make it up at times. I think, in your words, my little project, has brought some interest to most of the guys who entered. But don't worry, I wont be doing it again. Maybe you can come up with something that will make next season more interesting for those of us who enjoy football.

Been over that one plenty of times, never said he was classy at anytime.
Great defender though,Arsenal would love to have someone like him.
If they had him,a Matic type of player and Mourinho, they would be winning cups.

Chicken, there's no denying Wengers record, but surely you can see he's fallen behind with what's needed in the modern game,he's gone stale and he's to stubborn to adapt to each game.Just look at he's record against The Special One,TSO ties him up in knots and takes the piss.
Regarding your fantasy team and if you were clued up about football, you wouldn't put in a player that was involved in Africans Cup Of Nations, they always come back and don't perform. You should have used Aguero, lol.
