West Ham, Leicester, Swansea and Liverpool all very good this opening round. Man City still to play WBA on Monday and then next weekend its Man City v Chelsea.

I'm a United supporter but on the evidence of the match against Spurs, it will be easier to get there (having played a game more !!) but almost impossible to stay there... :P

I wouldn't either. The top sides can't all be rubbish this weekend. City to be top on goal difference tonight with Sterling starting to repay his transfer fee.

careful chrisb as WBA are not the pushovers that they were. Pulis has toughened them up. Look how well they played against Chelsea at the end last season. At home they will be very difficult to beat. I am going 1-1.

De Gea not in the United team for the trip to Villa on Friday night. This looks like the end of his United career and Real will no doubt be signing him very soon. Pedro has been urged by ex players who played under Van Gaal at Barcelona not to sign for United. Saldado who cost Spurs 26m 2 years ago has been sold to Spainish club Villareal.
