The Chinese are coming to take over English football. Just a few weeks ago the British Government and China entered into a new era re trade. This morning a Chinese company paid £265 million for 13% of Man City. A few billionaire Indian business men are looking to buy a few clubs. Soon the £500k a week player would be normal practice. Good for the game? No chance as we can see that the best players still want to play for the clubs that have ambition in Europe. All of them play for the likes of Barcelona, Bayern, Real Madrid and off course Juventus. Only a handful of players who ply their trade in the PL would make any of those teams.

There aren't a lot of official Chinese Dragon Arches worldwide. The list is San Francisco, London, Vancouver, New York, I think Sydney and definitely Manchester. The Manchester China Town takes up a few blocks bang in the middle of the City and grew up because of the ship canal. The Chinese food served up in Manchester is better than it is in China.
This isn't an investment in English football. It is an investment in the Manchester City Group that includes New York City and an Australian team. The purpose of the investment is for the group to expand into China and The Far East. Beijing City I suppose is next on the cards. The Chinese haven't bunged in a fortune so that Pelligrini can go buy Messi, Ronaldo or whoever else takes his fancy.
Good or bad..... It will certainly help to put China on the football map and they probably have more interest in the game than the Glaziers.
City have a business plan unlike a club like Chelsea that is run in exactly the same way as a second hand car dealer would run his local fourth division club.

Arsenal = US and Russian owned
Villa = US owned
Bournemouth = English and Russian owned
Chelsea = Russian owned
Liverpool = US owned
Man United = US owned
Man City = UAE owned
Sunderland = US owned
Southampton = Swiss owned
Watford = Italian owned
Leicester City = Thai owned

That's 55% of PL clubs foreign owned. Not that long ago only Chelsea were owned by a foreign company. Within 10 years and all will be owned by foreign investment.

WEEK 15 BETTING PREVIEW

English Premier League clubs will be kept busy in December and this weekend’s fixtures start with Manchester City’s visit to Stoke on Saturday.

Manchester City were the only team currently in the top five to win last weekend and they returned to the top of the table, ahead of Leicester on goal difference. Only four points separate the top five and a further two points back Liverpool are on the charge. Read more > goo.gl/WUgsZ7

Schweinsteiger of Man United has been retrospectively banned for 3 matches for elbowing a West Ham player.

He got rid of all of his proven goal scorers, Van Persie, Hernandez, Welbeck so it won't surprise me if he gets rid of De Gea. LVG has to be a Liverpool fan :woohoo:

If Kompany is still injured then this could be a high scoring match as Man City defence is a shambles when he does not play. I expect Arsenal to come flying out at them just like when they destroyed Man United earlier in the season. This could go either way. Prediction 3-3
