Costa is definitely returning to Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

What club did Sanchez Florez coach Costa? I remeber when Costa had his hissy fit last night, Florez went to speak to him, and the commentators mentioned it was his ex coach.... And I agree with the commentators (he does look like a champ of a person after what he did)....

Thanks Cnc. Was he fired? And was he the coach before Simeone? He seems like a champ of a guy....

not sure but he along with a few other coaches of teams in the PL should get a crack at the bigger teams. I wish that Arsenal get rid of Wenger now and get in one of these. Watford, WHU, Southampton, Tottenham, Chelsea all have better coaches than Wenger. Wenger was great in the 90s and early 2000s but now he has lost touch.

I agree... I would have loved to see Pep come to our shores :).... I heard something in commentary the other day thet Raneiri has never won major league title in his life... And he has coached some of the best teams in the world.... Imagine he wins it with Leicester.... Would be mind blowing imo.....one of those hollywood stories....

Ranieri seems to be one of the good guys...may come second often but still one of the good guys...saw a TV insert where he took the Leicester team, not long after joining, to make pizzas and they had a rollicking good time...did wonders for team spirit and bonding and seems to have laid the foundation for what we see them achieve to date...

Great story to see them achieve so much...credit must (also) go to Nigel Pearson for keeping them up with a run of great results in the last 10 matches of last season...if they had been relegated, the fairy-tale story playing out this year would not have been... :cheer:

one nice guy

When he was manager at Chelsea they had just played a very early season home match against Charlton. That summer Chelsea had the pitch relaid.

In his interview Raneiri stated that the pitch was like a beach as it was sandy/

What was funny is that his Italian accent made it sound like the pitch is a like a bitch

The media proceeded to have a ball with that for months

Lot of talk about Koeman being sized uo for Chelsea.
He has contract with Saints till end of next season and says he will see his contract out.He is that type of a guy.
Saints should finish in top six and I think that the move away players, such as Wenyama 25,Mane 24,Forster 25 will stay with him while he is at Saints,There are others attracting attention like Bernard 26 and Ward-Prowse21.
Pelle may want to secure his place in the Italian squad and could move to Italian club, which is why they bought Austin.
So I think the moves will mainly come next year but depends what RK does.
Saints have quite a lot of money and a rich lady owner,Katerina Liebherr who has proven very positive since Markus died.

Koeman would be stupid if he went to Chelsea. Look how many of their managers have been fired. He is doing a great job at Southampton and i wish that he would take over at Arsenal. He comes from a Dutch pedigree that could play and he has brought that with him from his time as a player. Now imagine what he could do with the likes of Ozil and Alexis at Arsenal. First on the agenda would be to get rid of Giroud along with his life long supply of hair products. Have you ever seen anybody and i mean woman included, touch their hair so much over the course of 90 minutes? Saints have some wonderful players and buying Van Dyik from Celtic was a masterstroke as he is one of the best centre backs in the country. Should be a good game against West Ham tomorrow evening

Lol, I agree with you re Giroud playing with his hair.... But imo, he hasn't yet taken the title away from Christiano Rinaldo... That guy must go through more hair products in a game than fashion shows go through a week.....
