Agreed Dave... The 2nd half was a great performance....Rooney will be lucky to even get on the bench Imo... He is not going to take Kane or Alli's spot (his 2 playing positions), he is to slow to play out wide... Vardy off the bench has much more impact...
I thought Eric Dier had a great game (as you said, the Spurs players) which means Carrick does not start (if he is not injured or retired)... Will be interesting to watch how Drinkwater goes as they mentioned he will start next game.. He thouroughly deserves his call up after a great season... The one place there is an issue is your 2 centre backs.... I'm still not convinced either of them are good enough, but then who gets a run??? Another Spurs player who had a good game was Rose.... The best thing about it, is they all still kids.....
