jose said in his interview on sky sports that he had 4 key players he wants to sign and he already has 3.the 4th will be his priority, so i doubt he will sign anyone else once he has either pogba or if pogba goes to madrid, then matuidi.thats my understanding and im sure jose will not get rid of the youngsters because the club will not allow it

we are realists as we know that we are not good enough to win it unlike the glory hunters down the Kings Road who think that they are the best club side on the planet. Cheque book Jose is gone and the owner wont spend huge amounts, Your transfer dealings for the summer are now over unless Hazard, Cortois, Matic and Costa leave which is odds on then you are going to have to buy. Wow i have never ever heard the saying Specialist in Failure before, thats pretty good description. Must use it in future.

Southampton are not a selling club.They are victims of success but still only a medium sized club in the PL.Consequence of doing well is that cheque book clubs come running along and say they want to buy X Y or Z.The problem Saints have is that these players are promised/guaranteed much higher wages than Southampton can pay.
Southampton argue with these players agents that X Y and Z have contracts with 1,2,etc years to go.
The agent says 'You know what you can do with your contract".The player says he wants to go,what do you do.
Wenyama and Mane both wanted to go last year and in December but Koeman persuaded them to stay.He didn't ask them this year and you can all see the reason why.
When you face this situation and reach the point where your player is leaving,then you say,if he 's going then I am going to get as much as I can for him.Understandable.
However Southampton are well aware of this situation and when all these Managers?Players leave there is always someone ready to step in.
