Engles, you know Arsenal have a very fragile persona.
After Viera,Adams,Keown and Co got to old, they bought midget men who don't roll up their sleeves when the going gets tough. That 8-2 along with 6-0 and 6-1 showed their lack of fight..Now you've only highlighted the change in formations for both teams, but Chicken has taken it the wrong way again.

DTF is correct Chicken. I just happen to be watching the game on dstv at the moment and it just highlighted to me how quickly the Premiership has changed in so many ways. I have no need to "gloat" over United wins, over a 20-odd year period the "stats" speak for themselves and I generally let them do just that. If nothing else, just look at that United line-up and consider how they would do in today's Premiership and yet they put 8 past an injury-hit Arsenal and the commentators were talking about what a pleasure it must be for Fergie to manage such a wonderful set of players. (I didn't agree with that sentiment and thought we were potentially heading for trouble but that's another story). Cleverly, Anderson, Nani etc the next world beaters... hmmm!
Btw, United did not score with every shot that day, the game could easily have finished 12-4 or whatever.

I agree with your post Engles, except the " need to gloat" line.
It is Arsenal after all.

Commentators last words were along the lines of...
"over the weekend the score was Manchester 13, North London 3. I think its fair to say the power shift is complete"
and yet just 4 years later Arsenal finish 2nd, Spurs 3rd and both Manchester clubs are struggling in some ways and both change manager
Never been a gloater Dave, only when "giving back". Been on the wrong end of some painful results over the years and certainly hate it being rubbed in by some little sh1t lol so try not to be hypocritical.
If we win 8-2 this weekend it is good to know that Fellaini etc will be the next rulers of the football world...

This game has draw written all over it, reason being, both teams are playing in Europe next week, Arsenal want to win their group and Man Utd trying to stay alive in their group.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Mourinho unbeaten in 11 premier league games Vs Wenger.
Arsenal won 1 of their last 10 against United.
I think I know who I'll be on.
No ibra even better IMO as Rashford(who destroyed them last year) will most likely start upfront(hopefully anyway)
United 1-0
