Happy with what I saw
Interesting to hear the 'expert' view after the match - Schmeichel expressed some concern abt the lack of 'central' firepower up front - as both Rushford and Martial prefer playing down the left
As a United supporter I was also chuffed with the win; however (as with the Springboks), I'd caution against being overly optimistic - Chelsea unlucky to score at least twice in the first half, but hopefully the defensive partnership can only improve as time goes on, so not too worried as both Wan-Bissaka and Maguire looked the part; I'm more concerned that they won't be scoring enough goals going forward - yes they were great on the counter, but those opportunities may not present themselves against teams with a defensive mindset

Frodo, Yes, we are all concerned about our midfield and forwards...we definitely needed to strengthen in those areas.
But we didn't. So I'm happy with the performance of the team that we have. We probably won't win the league, but I think we can get 3rd spot....and go for Europa league.
Martial and Rashford are 24 and 22 years old...time for them to step up now. Yesterday was promising.

I can see Aubamayeng adding atleast a couple of hatricks to his name this season.
Once the likes of Pepe and Lacazette start linking up with him, it is going to be some entertaining viewing

Sky Sports have employed Mourinho as a pundit, and he was not kind to either United or Chelsea in his after match chat, although he did praise McGuire. I wonder why?

Where is Craig P when you want to take the piss out of him? His beloved Leicester drew as did his other team Leeds and the team that he hates Man United won 4-0.

It appears that Ozil and Kolasinac wont be playing football for some time yet as this gang war is on going. The Police have instructed Arsenal not to play them as they have an on going investigation. The two who attacked them a few weeks ago just wanted their watches and now say they want it all. Big big shit brewing with 24 hour security outside Ozils home.
