Celtic played their best game ever against Bayern Munich during the week, not sure they'll repeat that level of performance.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Once again more corruption from VAR
The ref rightly awards Everton a penalty in the 93rd minute
VAR get involved and inform the ref to take a look at it pitchside
Then VAR do not show the ref the angle where you see the United player pull back the Everton players jersey. TNT, covering the match on TV showed it after the penalty was given yet VAR don’t.
No doubt Everton will be receiving a letter of apology from that incompetent oaf Howard Webb

After two seasons coming so close I really hoped that this would be season that Arsenal finally won another league title to add the 13 that they already have.
After 2 very dubious sendings off (for kicking the ball away) other teams have not had a single player sent off this season for the same offence (although there are many who have done so and have stayed on the pitch even when on a yellow)
Injuries are now patting their toll on the squad and the stubbornness of the manager to not buy a striker is very apparent because of the lack of goals.
Now, even sitting 2nd, a top 5 place looks dicey. 5th place gets you into next seasons champions league.
i can’t see where Arsenal are going to get another goal from. On Saturday against West Ham, a team that Arsenal smashed 5-2 earlier in the season and 6-0 last season, they could have played until midnight and still not have found the net.
Tonight they visit Nottingham Forest and the best I can see for Arsenal is a 0-0 but Forest don’t do 0-0s so expecting a Forest win which will let all the clubs within 10 points of Arsenal get a little bit closer.
If Man City and Newcastle lose as well this evening then it gives Arsenal a bit of breathing space. Difficult games against Man United Chelsea and Bournemouth are coming up in March and hopefully by mid March the two forwards Saka and Martinelli are back.
My prediction for Top 5
Liverpool
Man City
Forest
Chelsea/Arsenal/Newcastle/Bournemouth
Bottom 3
Leicester
Ipswich
Southampton
Promotion
Leeds
Burnley
Coventry ( via the play offs)
Champions League
Real Madrid (who else)

As posted in the above a 0-0 draw. PSV will knock Arsenal out of the champions league
This will turn out to be the easiest title won by a team for years and Liverpool deserve it as they have been consistent.

Re: PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 2024/25 - Chat and bet sharing
3 months 5 days ago - 3 months 5 days agoThe ref was standing 5 yards away looking straight at it head on like the above pic This was yesterday in the Palace v Millwall FA Cup match
He failed to give a free kick let alone a yellow or a red
Only after VAR told him to have a look did he give a red
Same ref that from 40 yards away sent off an Arsenal player for a slight tug of an opponents jersey
Same ref of the Everton v Liverpool match 3 weeks ago with all its controversy
Same ref who failed to book a Man City player for kicking the ball away yet 5 minutes late in the very same match deemed it fit to send off an Arsenal player for kicking the ball away
Same ref who sent off an Arsenal player for a trip on the Wolves player just outside the Wolves penalty area which was overturned on appeal
The refs name?
Yes Micheal Oliver who is claimed to be the best in the country
The PL is corrupt no doubt about it

What a great FA Cup this season is turning out to be
Multiple winners Arsenal out
Pretenders Liverpool out
Hopefuls Chelsea out
Wannabes Newcastle out
Holders Man United out
Trophy dodgers Spurs out
Hopefully Man City go in the quarter finals
Quarter final draw
Fulham v Palace
Preston v Villa
Bournemouth v Man City
Brighton v Forest or Ipswich

Southampton are 1-0 up at Liverpool
No doubt that calls will be made and deals done for a 3-1 Liverpool comeback win They will get their regular Anfield penalty

There it is yet another 50/50 penalty awarded to Liverpool. Those calls at half time must have carried much weight.
I should script match reports a day before the match kicks off
not 1 but 2 penalties and there you are they get the 3-1 win

Wolves are now safe which means all three promoted teams from last season, Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton will be relegated.
With the league all but won by Liverpool the attention turns to who will finish in the other 4 Champions league spots (top 5 in the PL in his season) and if either Spurs or Man United win the Europa league then there could be 6. If Villa finish out of the top 5 yet manage to win the Champions league then the team finishing 5th will miss out.

1 month 4 weeks agoBetway screen shot.
I think either of the bottom 2 are both safe bets.
Morecambe has lotsa issues at the club 5 games left.
Carlisle and Morecambe play each other on the 12 April
their remaining 4 games are a muddle.
