There is something wrong with some SA jockeys wen they go to HK. Isnt it too much spoon feeding in SA and when he gets a 20/1 ride in HK he cant "ride enough" rather than complain Jiao n Zac get all good rides????
How come some like GVN & Dylan Mo has average win odds 10/1?
Fourie i remember he won 2 races jus like Murray. Lerena same thing besides impressing on HK jockey championship.

Lyle Hewitson was hyped from day 1 just like Luke Ferraris...got the best mounts from top stables but overall stats are about 10% winners...not in the top echelon...

Any jockey is only as good as the horses he rides...when SA jockeys move to other countries, there are already established jockeys so they take what's available to ride, far from the best...so a +-10% win rate in South Africa goes to 5% and less overseas...
