That's because he is riding all the favourites.
Both should be at least 10% higher with the rides he gets.
Last 2 meetings he was 5-10 and 6-10 to win the jockey challenge and failed in both days.
On Wednesday he amassed under 10 points with no winners.

Some stats about Purton and favourites.....
False favourite or not it doesn't matter,this is where most of the punters money is going.
51% of his mounts are favourites.
He wins on 20% of the favourites he rides.
Out of the 15 jockeys that have at least ridden one favourite this season he stands in 8th place on % won.

Bowman 36% winners on favs.

Well that's 3 favourites so far,0 wins and one 3rd place.
But according to the triple trio podcast they do expect him to win in race 7 with Lucky Sweynesse at 4-10 and race 8 with Golden Samurai at 12-10.
