Just been looking into Bitcoin . Quite interesting and got Bill Gates saying very positive things about them . Need to do a lot of research here but could be a very exciting and profitable investment once people start believing in this interesting concept . Whats your views on this ?

Try and watch/download the documentary, Banking On Bitcoin.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

R25,000 for one bitcoin now. A couple of years ago one bitcoin was worth about R1,500 and if you bought a couple of dollars worth a few years ago they would be literally worth millions. I was talking to colleagues at work about experimenting with a transaction to buy a bitcoin but was horrified to see that it was R25,000. Bitcoin investment will hide you from the tax loop, oh yes ;)

But beware, extremely volatile.

Well, that R25,000 I saw Thursday has just grown into R29,000.

Try R39000 at present. Guys, this is THE future. Ignore mainstream 'false news' media... fiat currencies are going to die a slow death, slow for sure but is going to happen. I am currently invested in 13 different cryptocurrencies .... Bitcoin is like the reserve currency .. the others will be your day to day stuff. It is a complex subject... as it stands . I work for a major retailer and have been tasked with heading up the blockchain initiative (blockchain is the technology which drives Bitcoin). For youngsters this is very exciting times....right up there with the industrial revolution.

I know a very wealthy chap who tbvh is not the most techno savvy person going around, but is a brilliant businessman. Anyway, we was telling me about how we had just deposited his first 25k into bitcoin and how he was going to make plenty...

The next day he came to see me... Told me how he got home and called his Mrs to his home office to see what he had just invested into. Put his laptop on, logged in only to see no investment  he got scammed... the wife hasnt to happy with him, but luckily the 25k wont put him out on the street.. well he was even laughing about it, so didnt hit him to hard..

So just as usual with anything online.... PASOP!

Karma is correct. With crypto having triple digit growth, and of course BTC appreciating so fast... There are many scammers out there. As usual do your homework.

Good man. xrp is used by financial institutions to transfer funds internationally, it is not true blockchain as the nodes are centralised. It is their target to decentralise over the next two years, but only to approved nodes which still implies central control.
