Scaey to think RG Snyman will have to hope for many injuries to be considered for a bok call up.

Just read that Redelinghuys broke his neck in the Lions /Cheetahs game yesterday and will indergo surgery today. While he is expected to make a full recovery, it is uncertain if he will ever be able to play rugby again. What a terrible injury for a youngster to pick up.

Yes, same one. The latest is that he has a dislocation of the C5/C6 joint in the vertebra (im only assuming that is also known as a break of the neck, as that is what they have reported). They say he has had a fusion of these two and should be able to return home later in the new week. They still unsure whether he will be able to play rugby again...

I dont know what its like in SA now regarding the currie cup final. I remember in the 80s it would be all over the shop. On the day of the final all rugby fans would watch on TV and the stadium would be packed. Maybe the interest has dwindled because the standard has dropped or fans are more interested in Super rugby and with the Boks. Those days there were hardly any international rugby so i suppose that was all the fans could grab onto.

Pity that WP did not make it as then i would have more ammo to fire at the Craig twins. Never mind there is always next season when Super rugby kicks off again.
