At long last they are going to have the bonus point system

4 points for a win
2 points a draw
1 point for 4 or more tries
1 point if you lose by 7 or less points

It's taken them a long time to wake up. It is definitely going to make for compulsive viewing

Commentators are saying that this is the strongest Scottish a squad for over 20 years as is the Italian squad. England have been weakened by a spate of injuries. I thought that the Irish would beat eveyone but now not so much. The organisers have made this comp so much better by bringing in the bonus points. This will go down to the very last weekend so at this stage, unlike the a Rugby Championship, will be an exciting season.
