Locally there is one bookie that I can find that has fixed odds of 10/11 on a line of 2535.
If you back the under 2535 total points, it won’t be the worst 10/11 shot you’ve backed in your life.
They are definitely smoking more than the socks I’m supposed to smoke (according to some pundit about my “all Northern hemisphere final prediction”) to come out with a line like this.

This was the biggest gift I have seen in a long time - even the 200 stop loss in the spreads was cashed in 2 weeks ago
The last 2 matches need 400+ points to be scored for the fixed odds bet to lose.

Well Done...

I hope there wasnt any deductions due to "scratchings" lol......

So the Boks made the final - 3 months ago I never gave us a chance of even reaching the semi's - but the draw favored us big time - NZ in our pool and avoiding England.

Judging the performance of the Green and Gold would very much depend on how one sees the game of rugby - imo it should be a combination of strength, passion, aptitude and flair - and while we certainly tick the boxes ito the first three, I think many pundits would say that we certainly have very little 'flair'

The Boks are playing to their strengths (and line-outs, scrums, kicks, mauls and especially defence, have always made up an integral part of the game) - so 10 out of 10 to them.

So who will win the final ? Don't think that many people will disagree that England has the better balanced team and that they have more 'flair' than the Boks, while not being too bad in the other departments - maybe a little weaker than the Boks - but how much weaker ?

To me it really is a 50-50 game; bounce of the ball, referee decisions, weather conditions (ito converting penalties into points), cards (really hope we don't see a red one), the odd mistake, etc, will all play a part; and so being that even, the Boks must be the value ?

Have been looking around to see if any bookies are offering odds on a specific player receiving a yellow card... Has anyone seen any of these options available?

My mad thinking - Rassie is a astute tactical genius and he picks up on little flaws that we are using to our advantage... He along with the rest of the boks know Farrell has had a problem with his tackling technique, (Yes, he has worked on it for the WC, but old habits just dont dissappear), I can see Duane, Du Toit, De Allende and co running hard and smashing into the Ford/Farrell combination....With this continuously happening there is a good chance that Farrell will get one of his tackles wrong and see Yellow..

With England's disciplinary record this WC (could be mistaken, but dont think they have received one Yellow card this tournament), the odds should be quite decent....

To be honest Bob I think England have the edge but if it is close with 20 minutes to go then our bench
could bring it through.
