Which means what? Must he run above his rating to win. Or must appies be put on all the time. Its a backhanded way of saying he got stopped.
Like a said. MR should be a work in progress not a final product.

p.s When i started this thread, I just used Cracker Jack as an example because he was running that week. If I used Dance With Mikey as the example then what would the response have been.
Prudence should be applied. If he then shows its not a flash in the pan, by all means adjust his rating. The handicappers got it right with Cracker Jack but wrong with Dance with Mikey. Where does this leave us in the long run? Still in the starting stalls if you ask me.

yes they got it wrong with dance with mikey and on the thread for racing that day i said i believe he shouldnt have got that rating and he was in a plate race never mind a hcap but as far as this cracker jack thread is concerned they got it right...geoff woodruff said afterwards he is being aimed at the summer cup...my closing statement on this discussion is they will make errors but on the whole the hcappers do a fantastic job...

Well done to the handicappers for dropping Dance with Mikey's rating. That is exactly what we want to see. If they drop horses rating when they can clearly see that it was too high then we are moving forward.
