Well done to the winners

Thoroughly enjoyed last weeks competition. It is amazing how the 'thrill factor' increases when in competition with fellow horseplayers ( similiar experience in the Champion Punter ). Whilst the prizes are part of the initial incentive a high interest remained even when one was heading to the ranks of the 'also rans'.

The strategies adopted by the players was interesting for me particularly in regard to 'the favourite - longshot bias'.
On a day when 7 races were won by 1st/2nd favourites, the top 5 players called it right with 4-5 winners each. However, they could have been 'Najahed' on the day had anyone been so outrageous (which some were - but not in that race)

Well done to the winners and many thanks to the organisers and sponsors - hopefully similiar competitions can be created in the future.
