In the 2nd I can't help feeling that the well bred Joie's Winter will improve today, got Christina to beat, thou.... Interesting to see Bernard on the Stewart perd and not on one of the Bass couplings.....

My take on today's racing at the Big T:
R3: Filly Bushwacker stands out
R4: Obviously Link Man - but he is apparently entered (or going to be entered) in the Guineas - should it prove too short for him one needs to include the Laird and Tarry couplings
R5: Not too original, but de Kock should take it - my preference at the odds are the filles Flirtation and Zirconeum; Mother Russia possibly most likely as a floater and PA inclusion; Bulsara the danger if he gets the 2000
R6: Gold Onyx at level weights the one to beat
R7: Happy Archer probably the best bet of the day
R8: Harbor Street better than his MR imo; win if he stays
R9: Toughest race on the card imo - watch out for Access Code if we have a late afternoon shower
R10: End of Season to round off the mini-season in Gauteng

greg, he could place imo, but he is under sufference (if you believe the handicappers) and I think that perhaps Across the Ice could finish in front of him at the weights today - we shall see
