This commentator is going backwards at a rate of knots. The whole world saw the interference, he never said a word. Not even after seeing the slow motion.

Let me hijack this circus thread.

Alcaponee

My computer has been sorted out. The virus was so severe that it attacked the OS as well. So now I have a new OS " Windows 7" as opposed to XP. All my files etc has been cleaned and reloaded. I have only seemed to have lost my e-mails and address book.
So I now literally have a new computer. Just got to get used to Windows 7.

Stipe Langa is more worried about the jockeys protest then to worry about the interference in race 2. Its the biggest BS ever.

Good one East - 7 seems ok but takes a bit of getting used to much in the sam way as office 2003 vs 2007. I hated 2007 in the beginning but now will never go back. Have not really worked on Windows 7 too much though and when I have, it has been quite frustrating. We spend so much on antivirus software but they always tend towards the useless side and you have to wonder if these AV companies are not creating these viruses themselves.

Good to here that you are up and running.

Thats me , an 8 grand swing for me in the 2nd. I'm sick to death with this c..p. Been involved for 25 years and have done a fortune in that time, however I love the sport and it serves it's purpose, which for me is relaxation and enjoyment. As mentioned the useless commentator doesn't even mention it and whats worse is the stipe goes on about the reasons for cancelling when the meeting probably shouldn't even have started in the 1st place and between the Teletrack presenter and himself they never mention the incident once. I've written a seething email to Rian du Plessis at Phumelela and await an acceptable reason as to why the result was not ammended, otherwise I walk away from horse racing for life.

Beyond please if you can copy the mail to Bob and let him send it on to me - I'll take it with to the next RA open meeting and let's see what is said - I only got to watch the second race and though I'm not a jockey I'm not sure exactly where the problem lies as i'm at work and have missed the explanation/protest reasons why that the course is unsafe? Racing looked fair to me but perhaps I missed the danger area?
