I don't think Harry Prince is that much of a crazy selection. He won his maiden over the Turffontein 2000m and on his run behind Masai Warrior on the 18th November he is now 9.5kg's better of for a 6 lengths beating.

Perhaps he won't win but he certainly is not the biggest dog in the field surely?

Punter,

I think you need to separate the turf and sand form. If you look at this horses' turf form it really is pretty good. he won his maiden over this CD, then first run out the maidens only ran 6 lengths off Masai Warrior. He was then not ridden well in a work riders race and ran down field. After that his only run on the turf was over the vaal mile which was probably just a little too quick for him, he stayed on nicely.

The draw is always a concern, but he should be dropped out (famous last words ;) )

This is a hard race and there are a miriad with chances, just saying that he is not the worst selection in this race.

Came from last to run 5th , if only overcome that kak draw it would have been in the frame for sure . Nice call Magic thats why I love your value bets but could not understand this one . Thanks Tommy sportingpost only shows last 7 runs so never saw the horses turf runs . Either way I usually only worry about the last 5 runs .

I would think a horse to follow over the longer trips (2400 +); the draw may not have been that much of a setback as he comes from behind; but he was also out at the weights tonight; didn't notice that he was actually weighted to finish in front of Masai Warrior - which probably means that MW was not that well weighted here either - and it showed - just hanging on for 3rd

Magic-

Harry Prince running tomorrow again (hopefully).

Tomorrows card was probably done before the Tuesday race. Any change in opinion or rating.
