This is a horseracing site. Stop promoting your drugs here. I dont live in durbs nor am i a vaalie. If you go on times then mythical flight must rank as one of the all time greats. I never compared VDR to frankel, you did. What has BC beaten so far?

The argument here is how do we define a champion and do we do it on a local or global scale?

Question: Was Pocket Power a champion? Yes he was a SA Champion. Same for VDR she is a champion SA racehorse - The Eqqus awards later this year will prove that. You cannot compare horses in the mind or by times. They have to meet to determine who is the best. She has met WAW and won. 3 grade 1's says it all regardless of which horse is left in the country. If the logic of the good horses are exported is used then it would be "fair" to say that Pocket Power is not a champ because he did not race against the likes of Presvis and co.

VDR is a Champion SA sprinter and a filly to boot. She is out of the same mould as National Colour who was also a champion.

Val De Ra is very very good, but if you think you saw the real What A Winter on Saturday I reckon you will disover otherwise before much longer. Not that it matters which is the better - both are SA horses and that matters much, much more than any provincial nonsense.
