I dont know. If I do then it will take all the fun away. I am sure that your name is not Pirates. I presume that the majority of posters are not who they say they are. Barry Irwin would tell us who he is because he thinks that he is God to the racing world.

If anyone thinks he's Gods gift to the world I would have to say CnC the shoe fits very well on you Cinderella. If you had to hold your hands up every time you made a balls up of a post I think your arms would have fallen off from tiredness a long time ago! Anyway this thread is giving you way more attention than you deserve so lets stick to ol' Septic Bladder.

Isn't it funny that Fifa and Blatter have denied corruption all this time and all of a sudden the guy who was challenging Septic for the presidency has to deal with corruption claims made by Blatter's big mate Chuck Blazer a few days before the election takes place. Fifa have never taken corruption seriously so we all know that this latest charade is just Septic trying to hold onto power once again.

Anyway I've got no sympathy for that crook from Qatar and for the other gunnif Jack Warner. Anyone who wants to get into bed with Fifa, Blatter and all his cronies deserves what they get. As the saying goes "If you sleep with the dogs you get flees".

The only solution is for all the football bodies around the world to withdraw from Fifa until the entire executive committee resigns. Decisions like hosting the World Cup should not be made by a select group of old crooks but rather each football federation should be allowed to vote. It would be much harder to bribe 100's of Football federations than the current +/- 20 members.

Switzerland is also hardly the shining light of transparency to play host to a world governing body. As someone once said to me you could take a suitcase with millions of dollars drenched in blood to a Swiss banker and he would simply ask "Sir, when would you like them to be cleaned?"

I believe the UK is probably the best place for Fifa to be headquartered. Whatever we may say about the poms its difficult to get away with corruption for too long in the UK as the media inevitably get to have their say and heads eventually roll.

From sportinglife.com

Sepp Blatter has admitted FIFA face "difficulties" but insists: "Crisis? What crisis?"

The FIFA president appeared at a news conference after another extraordinary day of revelations, claims and denials involving the world governing body's most senior officials.

Blatter, though, appeared defiant and determined to press on with Wednesday's election, where he will now be unopposed.

The conference at FIFA's headquarters came shortly after FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke had confirmed that he sent an email suggesting the 2022 World Cup was "bought" - but insisted he was referring to Qatar using their "financial strength" to legitimately lobby for votes.

Asked about FIFA facing a crisis, Blatter said: "Crisis? What is a crisis? Football is not in a crisis.

"If you see the final match of the Champions League you must applaud. We are not in a crisis we are only in some difficulties and these will be solved inside our family."

Mohamed Bin Hammam and Jack Warner, two of FIFA's most powerful men after Blatter, have been suspended on bribery charges - while a photograph of some of the cash alleged to have been paid to Caribbean officials emerged on Monday.

In the last month there have been allegations in the British Parliament that Qatar paid bribes for the World Cup, and from ex-Football Association chairman Lord Triesman that four other FIFA members asked for cash or favours from England's 2018 World Cup bid.

Blatter said, however, that there had been no evidence brought forward to back up the claims and that there was no threat to the tournament taking place in Qatar, while Valcke insisted he was not accusing the 2022 bid of unethical behaviour.

Blatter said: "I believe that the decision which we took for the World Cup 2022 was done exactly in the same pattern and environment as we have made on the World Cup 2018 and there was no problem for the FIFA executive committee to act in this direction, there is not issue for the World Cup 2022."

Sports minister Hugh Robertson has called for the election to be postponed after Bin Hammam pulled out of the contest against Blatter but the reigning president said FIFA would solve their problems on their own.

He added: "If the governments try to intervene in FIFA's organisation then something is wrong. FIFA is strong enough that we can deal with our problems inside FIFA and I am sure the Congress will show its unity and solidarity and solve the problems."

Asked about his own personal position in running again for president unchallenged, Blatter added: "The Congress will decide if I am still a valid or non-valid candidate and a valid or non-valid president."

Valcke's email had been sent to Warner earlier this month about Bin Hammam, and the FIFA vice-president from Trinidad made it public in a fury at being banned pending a full investigation.

Valcke wrote: "For MBH, I never understood why he was running. If really he thought he had a chance or just being an extreme way to express how much he does not like anymore JSB [Blatter]. Or he thought you can buy FIFA as they bought the WC."

In a statement, Valcke stated: "Mr Warner has published an email which I sent to him. I'd like to clarify that I may use in an email - a 'lighter' way of expression by nature - a much less formal tone than in any form of correspondence.

"Having said that, when I refer to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in that email, what I wanted to say is that the winning bid used their financial strength to lobby for support.

"They were a candidate with a very important budget and have used it to heavily promote their bid all around the world in a very efficient manner.

"I have at no time made, or was intending to make, any reference to any purchase of votes or similar unethical behaviour. I would also like to clarify that there is, as I said yesterday, no investigation open at FIFA regarding the 2022 FIFA World Cup host election."

If arrogance were a capital offence the world would be knee deep in dead bodies. Our racecourses would be more like shoulder deep in dead bodies.>:D<
