FINAL FIELD AND DRAW FOR JULY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

safwan on a sale next thursday which makes his inclusion in the final field a mockery,all he is in the field to do is set the pace and hopefully he doesnt take half the field out...he won a pathetic greyville 1900 and shd have been left out the final 20

Pirates - to me he was the lucky horse, agreed. Il Saggitore and even the improving Brown Penny a bit unlucky.

But hey - Igugu looks hard to oopose with exacta positions Bravura, PJ or English Garden for me.

It's virtually an unwritten rule that the 1900 winner gets in, and if Sean Tarry hadn't scratched Golden Chariot they'd have had to find a spot for him as well. It was a very weak 1900 and we all know it, but nobody at Gold Circle is going to acknowledge it publicly by bombing any winner of the race out of the July. I'd have liked to see Il Saggiatore in the field, but all things considered I don't think there is any of the controversy over the final July field that there has been in some years.

I just wish we had 20 jockeys and not 15 at this stage, but never mind.

Yip that's a pity - wonder what the thinking is there - if I were the owners I would have preferred Teetan on Super Storm - I now have to side with Bravura and I still think he's going to jump favorite on the day
