Greg,I queried with TAB yesterday....you realise that it has to be an intentional "sabotage" type lark.
It cannot be a mistaken entry....it is one day of the year that has no racing

Morning all, PE very wet and still raining. We feel that racing wont hold up for the day. The reason they cant move to Arlington is that they dont have transport available to move the horses.When New Turf had the contract it was one of our stipulations that we had to have vehicles available in case of having to move meetings. The main reason we dont have the contract anymore is that Phumelela said we were too expensive and had to"sharpen our pencil" but they wanted the same service. We were not prepared to compromise our reputation by giving a 2nd rate service so declined to continue the transport. The current contractor must have come in cheaper but at what cost? Now cant move the meeting and next week the same as no trucks available. The "official" reason is that Arlington has taken too much work but that is "BS" as in my opinion it is because the transporter is busy with 2yr Old Sale work and I know they dont have enough vehicles to do both sale and Arlington.They should already be changing back to Arlington for next week due to current weather.
PENNYWISE AND POUND FOOLISH. WHAT TURNOVER WILL BE LOST IF WE LOOSE RACING TODAY.Jockeys have already landed , who will refund their airtickets? Jockeys requested early this am that Phumelela make a decision before they all flew.

Just heard that they are going to gallop on the course. Will give update as soon as possible. Rocky at the course now.
