Race 1 : 11-FIRE BURNING is worthy fav.
+ve --> Kenilworth form is far superior to other tracks, xtra distance will suite ( was running on at death)
-ve --> First run sand & be wary of Kimberly traners "STRANGE" ways/antics !

Hi my fellow punters

We (or at least me) were just fucked over by SM Miller/Cohen. I find it hard to believe that Fire Burning couldn't finish in the top 3. It stood out above the others on paper. if someone watched the race or have info on why he underperformed please let me know. I'm out of the compo for this month but at least i didn't put all my money on the horse (only a portion of my kitty). Will make it up during the day or tomorrow but a loosing bet is never nice although i'm making provision for risk (loosing bets) in my betting plan.

Different ballgame on sand. We've seen it often enough at the Vaal, too. Horses with no form on turf improving lengths, and horses with form on turf going backwards lengths. Fire Burning appeared to have every chance but never really travelled well and faded in the last 200m or so.
