Come on guys this is old news and nothing can be done about it, just leave the big happy family alone. So what if Vee's wife works for the RA and so does Clyde's. The RA and Phumelela are two complete seperate entities according to the Chairman and acting CEO. They all do a great job and all the RA members and Phumelela supporters are very content with the situation. You never see them bitching as racing has never been in a better position. We faceless minority hiding behind our computer facades have no say. If you don't like it you can leave at least they have a whole family interest vested in the industry and that shows commitment.

Good example, when Clyde General Manager RA left the RA to join P his job at RA was down graded and advertized as Racing Operations Manager a whole campaign was advertized and short list of 5 was put forward to be interviewed by the then Chairman Larry Wainstien. Larry said that there was no suitable candidate and the post was not filled, but instead Larry took over said post with an increased salary and decleared himself as acting CEO all approved by the then RA board. After a few more salary bumps and after the HR company mandate had expired on the original Racing Operations Manager post then Larry, with RA board approval appointed Nicholas Nofal as the Racing Operations Manager. Young Nick's family are patrons in Joey Soma's stable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this process as it had full backing by RA members and sanctioned by the RA board. If they agreed to this process then it is absolutely correct.
