Hibernia, DWTD is a superstar and yes she is phenomenal over 1600m but one just has to think back to the Joburg Fillies challenge as well as the Fllies guineas. Although Igugu didnt beat the likes of DWTD it was the manner in which she won. I rate her better over 1800 and further but just as good as DWTD over 1600m. Only the race will tell but I would put my money on the Triple Tiara champion.

God forgive me, but compare the Ipi Tombe field with the little allowance field that Ebony Flyer dusted last weekend. Night and day. I apologize for even mentioning EF in the same post as Igugu. Again, forgive me.

4th Dec?this weekend.
DWTD and her team would probably be basking in sun in Bahamas after her win on sat.

I read some comments about a virus and horses can't float to WC.Does this mean IGUGU/Bluroute are confined to Gp?

Igugu is an all terrain campaigner.DWTD is spoilt, likes it soft.

Got to agree with Barry , no disrespect to the balance of the field in the Challenge, but EF ran against top sorts even if was a allowance plate. Igugu can lose 10l at the start and still win the challenge, clever move by de kock to move Bluroute to Sec stakes, should have the nmeasure of the field although zackey stable has hit rich vein of form.
