@ Sylvester - well put, lol !

@ Racing Guru and Element - some questions....
1) When Striker mentions he is out at the weights or beaten by others on collateral formlines, is he just meking it up or are these statements based on facts, there for all to see ?
2) Based upon the above facts, how many of Striker's rides are then false favourites ?
3) Over the years, Striker has ridden many winners, (1000's ?), which couldnt win on form. So, I dont see him riding horses according to his pre race assessment or "not trying" . He cant wait to prove his Riding Ability on a horse which shouldnt win.
4) Who makes the horse favourite ? Striker ?
5) How on earth did Striker achieve more than 4500 Winners, if he "LACKED CONFIDENCE" ?
6) What would you prefer, a jock who doesnt give a hoot and sticks you into anything with a chance (Sylvester's VW Golf) or a realistic jock who gives you facts ?

@ this thread - apparently, earlier in the day, Wayne Agrella rode one for Mitch and stayed down the inside, in the heavy going, contrary to instructions. Mitch never went to the unsaddling enclosure after the race. Later, when Mitch came into the ring for the next Agrella ride for him, Mitch queried the previous ride. Agrella turned around and went and took his saddle off, refused to ride. This was told to me by an Owner in the yard.

This is why i want to know what is happening and if this is allowed. I have nothing against W Agrella. I just want to know if what he done is allowed as i know the horse was fancied.

Agree with most comments. Agrella thinks he is God's gift to racing! He is arrogant and a nobody! He thinks he rules in PE and it is about time he gets down to earth!

Wayne has asked us to reply here on his behalf. There is an inquiry and once this has been finalized he will put his side of the story out.

However there are always 2 sides to any story and no offense to anyone but the only owners in the ring for this particular incident where Ben and Arne Botha.

All should wait to hear the outcome of the inquiry before passing the kind of comments that are being made above.

W. Agrella should apologise to those punters who backed FD.
He has brought racing into disrupt. IMO he deserves to be suspended from riding for at least 6 months.

Point is I will never have Agrella on my horses - heard too much of this guy. No one is bigger than the sport of horseracing!

Then again he probably would not want to ride my soupmeat!
