Best Bet daily

Benito I agree with what most of the clansters have to say but it depends on how you structure the bets you provide to us. The idea is to recover any losses with a profit (R1000 in my case) if your selection arrives. What I did is the following:

1) Greyville 4/2/2012 Race 4 nr 1 Eye of the Needle 16/10 (R1120 / R700) = R1052-80 profit

2) Fairview 5/2/2012 Race 7 nr 1 Copper Parade 16/10 (R1120 / R700) = R700-00 loss

3) Southwell 6/2/2012 Race 6 nr 3 Global Village 7/2 (R1750 / R500) = R500-00 loss (down R1200 since last win)

4) Kenilworth 7/2/2012 Race 3 nr 1 It's Exciting 12/10 (R2280 / R1900) = R2143-20 profit

This is based on how I actually punted. So you will see that 2 from 4 winners leaves me with a profit of R1996-00. The odds in this case is not really an issue as long as the strike rate is good. This is the most important in my opinion as you do not want to go on and on with a losing streak as your funds will get exhausted.

If you still do not understand how I structure my bets it works like this. You start of with the profit you wish to make with every winner and this is obviously based on the pool amount you have a available. Example you have R10 000 divide it by 20 and work on a R500 system. Divide R500 by your selection's odds say it is 16/10 which equals R312-50. Round it off to R400 and place your bet 640/400. Your selection loses. Now you take R500 (your amount) and add R400 (loss). Take this R900 and divide it by your next selection's odds which is maybe 2/1. It comes to R450 rounded off to R500. Your bet is R1000 / R500. If this one wins you make a profit and your loss is recoverd as well. Once again a reminder strike rate is the most important in my opinion.

So Benito, as long as you can keep a good strike rate I will follow you and definitely profit from it. So good luck to you as I can benefit from it.

Yes, everyone can work out their own bets per day but some of us suck (me included). I have paid for tips from a lot of tipsters (Whisperer, Mike Bass Racing, Sheldon Peters, John Sweet ) and a lack of consistency is the main concern for me.

Braam, that seems like quite a dangerous staking plan imo, if you had twelve straight loses, how much would you be betting?

Guys the way to play is level stakes on every bet.I always hear of punters having more on the shorter odds ones and less
on the larger priced ones.I will stake the same on a 33/1 shot as i would on a 15/10 shot. I only ever go for a real big bet
probably 6-10 times a year,these are usually early maidens in the Uk.But the day to day racing it is level stakes betting
for me.

That is correct my friend. I follow this system with a fixed pool say R 10 000. If this is gone obviously game over as far as that system is concerned. Consistency needed. The profit I took so far (close to R2000) already deposited into my home loan. Hoping to make another R8 000 with the system before it comes to that...on the positive side let's hope Benito maintains or even better his strike rate. I only follow this system with his selections. I'll keep you posted as I go along then you can make your own conclusion Lucky.

Dave, 100% boet. That is the beauty of the game. All of us have our way of punting and can obviously adapt as we go along. I must punt the way I see it and will also follow your system in specific instances especially when I get a so-called certainty for the day especially weekends when I have ASMA (AS MA uitvind ek speel perde is daar kak):X. So even personal circumstances can have an influence if you know what I mean. But that is why this site is great because one can consider everyone's ideas

I have even heard of theories that say we should bet more on our longer shots and less on the hot pot favourites, because for most punters it's those few long shots that come in every year that determine whether they are profitable or not. BUT, most punters don't have the courage to play the game that way.

Kinglet in Meydan looks a gid thing and also Master of Hounds been told by a friend that this two horses should beat they opponents very easily i will only have a 6 with this 2 as bankers.

Voodoo Girl looks the best bet on the card and news coming through that it wil beat the living hell out of that field today
Coco Stripes is my fancy you can take ew or single win bet but i know what i will take this horse looks a good thing at great value today 10/1 thats a gud price for a horse of that class.

I am xcited to bet on this work riders because last time i had a nyc winning ticket and i dont see that changing today.

Vaal heard from a friend stable dont expect Rodeo Dandy not to be in the winners box and the booking of F Semela on it very confident so thats a P6 banker and PA banker today gudluck chat when i hear something else during the day.

tarry-favourites are always a bit unreliable and a 4-year-old from a zaki-stable to go 4 in a row? maybe they win, but for this prices they don't seem to be a "bet of the day". but anyway thank your very very much for your informations, always interesting to hear rumours!
