Ja, seems the best thing to do considering the results.... For once I'm glad to be busy at work....

Can't agree GB, I have been a critic of Durbanville as much as most in the past but I thought today's card was decent, maybe not the best horses in the world but the races looked and for the most part proved pretty competitive. There were no huge surprises and I think all the winners were there to be found today. I picked out four myself last night (Cat Dubois, River Tigris, Mr Rhythm and Lily Lafite) plus also had savers on Repetoire (well backed), Marine Sky (well backed) and Gold Academy. The other winner was a favourite (where I had the 2nd, 3rd n 4th). I had a number of forecasts and at least three tricasts, none of which paid much unfortunately! I'm not saying this to gloat but I do think we need to be fair and I didn't see much wrong with the Durbanville card today, infact from a punter's point of view I thought it was a good card. I did say so before racing started too so its not just because I had a good day!

You just had a good day, so can't fault your analysis....

I agree GB... but there seems to have been pretty constant negativity about D'ville recently (of which I have been part) so I think it only fair that when they do put together a card that offers decent and competitive races that someone sticks up for them. The best horses can't be out all the time and after looking at the card yesterday I thought it was the fairest from a punter's point of view I've seen in a long time anywhere. No short priced favourites etc (which a punter will always struggle to ignore) and plenty in with chances. Anyway, I wasn't trying to be critical of you, just offer a little support for a much criticised "track". If they could only continue to produce similar cards in the future then I for one would be very happy to continue to punt at their meetings.
