in Antons last 100 rides his longest loosing sequence is 7 which happened once other than that he rode 30 winners and only 6 of them were odds on

Doubling up in a casino not clever they have limits plus the white ball has no memory even after 20 reds black is still even money

i tried that exact same strategy a few years ago,i was 18 and niave and was at the wild coast.. Lost on red, dn put R200;dn R400;dn R800,dn i cud only manange R1500...gues what?hit black.. The moment i had lost everythng, hit 18..not only red, but the number i usually flower

I don't know how long you been punting/gambling nor do i know if you fishing BUT if you serious PLEASE stop all betting activities NOW.

Ja Fixer DONT use that strategy, you will be broke in no time.100+200+400+800+1600=3100 if you hit it with 1600 it is only 100 profit and not 1600. That is 3200 outlay for 100 profit (3/100 odds) and that is if you are lucky and win it on the 1600 bet.
Will you back a horse that is 3/100?
Stop gambling and study your horses and only back a horse if you really fancy that horse, forget about betting strategies the only difference from the one to the other is the rate at which you lose your money.-D

Who are profitable punters...let's say over the last 10 years.? Are there any clanners out there that can honestly say that over last 5 to 10 years they showing a profit? How many times have walked into a place and someone told me "that's a pro punter he is so disciplined...he has only one or 2 punts a day". But where are these guys today? They can't even afford to login to this website. Let's be honest. We all mugs that just love the game, the thrill, the adrenilin of seeing the horse we punt go over the line first. Others do drugs we punt. But then there are those who do both....May they rest in peace!!!

I am definitely ahead over the last few years YC but in the previous 25 I was heavily down!!! Has a lot to do with discovering SA racing a couple of years ago but we are not talking huge wins here. I am for the most part a mug punter, exactly as you describe and I am always aware that a long losing streak could return all my winnings as quick as they came to me. I use no fixed strategy in my bets, I enjoy trying to beat the bookies too much and solving the puzzle each race presents. Indeed in many ways you could say I do everything wrong... I don't have great knowledge and use a less is more approach heavily reliant on draw and times when studying form, I bet on every SA race even when I know I shouldn't (like on the sand), I do listen to others, I do follow the market, I change my stakes every bet, I tend to change my approach as I think the "climate" requires... at the moment, the racing just does not suit the way I look at form so I tend to listen to others more and that to me is sensible, knowing when your hot and cold and who is hot is important. But like most people I do have good streaks and when I am in form I am definitely good... I doubt anyone else in the history of ABC has posted three decent paying trifectas with just three selections on one eight race card? To me it proves that you don't have to have any set strategy or great knowledge, just have a little self-confidence, hope for a little luck and don't be scared of losing... or "tipping" losers. When I comment on the daily threads I am rarely tipping, merely conversing with people and if there is a horse that I particularly like then I make that clear. Like you I think, to me it is all primarily fun and using a little sense to keep losses low and occasionally hopefully recovering them all - and a little more - with a nice win! But I have no problem with what anyone does... each to their own and best of luck to everyone! (tu)
