I am a liverpool supporter, but i must say Andy Carroll needs to learn to use his right foot. He favours his left too much!

He's not been very impressive but does look far too good for the scousers, let him go back to Newcastle where at least he has an outside chance of getting some Champions League football within the next decade >:D<

I am the only LFC supporter from both sides of my family and every year I get stick from everyone yet I never diss Man Utd on their accomplishments. I take my hat off to Fergie who is a master tactician. But we have our history and we have won it all unlike the likes of Spurs and Arsenal and Everton who have never tasted Champions League glory. We have how many times. Recently LFC have made poor decisions in the buying and selling department which have cost us alot. The sale of Alonso and Mascherano had a immediate impact and we have still not recovered from those sales. The purchase of Downing and Henderson which cost us 40 mill has cost us dearly. King Kenny with all due respect to a legend was a good choice of Manager at the wrong time. LFC needs 2 more seasons to rebuild our squad. We need youthful players, attacking players, we need to forget the defensive play that is obviously not working for us. Carrol, Downing,Henderson and Lucas need to go. Bellamy played his heart out last season, Gerrard was poor and Adams should be played in his right position.

Punter, I have never dissed LFC for their accomplishments. I do not deny though that I have a hatred for them (for personal reasons). They were a great team but made poor decisions at a very important time and have continued to do so. Without bias, I can't see them recovering unless they become the next Chelski or Man Shity. I have heard your "two years" for the last 15 years and I think I will hear the same for the next 15. Sad, but to break into the so-called big teams now it requires huge backing, even 40 million, even on very good players, is unlikely to be sufficient.

reading your post suggests to me that not only do you hate Liverpool, but you also hate Chelsea and Man City, and I know why. Firstly for many a year you lived in the shadow of Liverpool and now you are living in Man Citys shadow and you hate Chelsea because they are also challangers to Man United. My money says that you also hated Arsenal when they were up there with United. Nothing wrong with it as this is what we football fans are about.

I have complete faith that Brendan Rogers is here to stay and he is going to bring back glory days to Anfield. His style of play and no nonsense approach to players will prove vital. LFC needs a manager that has no loyalty to players but loyalty to the team. No friends in this business, its all about the trophies. And thats called a FERGIE APPROACH.

punter punter punter

please for the sake of your health do not think for one minute that Liverpool are going to start doing well now that Rodgers is the manager. What was it that you Liverpool fans said when KING KENNY went back to manage the club? Please remind me.

Then you would be entirely wrong Punter and you certainly don't "know" B)- I reserve my hatred (which, as I said before, is born out of personal reasons, not football reasons) to Liverpool and Leeds. I have actually watched Chelski more than any other league team, it is disappointing to see the club as it is now and many Chelsea fans I know agree. Their recent successes they love of course but many would swap it all (or nearly all ;) ) to have their old club back. I freely admit I am not from Manchester and therefore I am very much someone who grew up with Liverpool rather than City being the big rivals. I have no hatred for City. I do have a hatred of these clubs claiming to be big clubs simply because some billionairre has pumped a load of money into them. It will be a long long time before anyone seriously says they are a bigger club than United and for that to happen they will need a very long period of sustained success... anyone think Chelski are a bigger club than United... no! why should City be any different. I was told by an Arsenal fan about 5 years ago that I was the only MUFC fan who had said to him that I had enormous respect for Arsenal, I liked the football they played and that the "wrangles" with Man Utd were just handbags. They have been a team to be respected over the last 20 years. I simply talk football Punter, with an occasional tongue in cheek jibe, I always respect a good team and I am happy to admit it and compliment opposition players and teams. I am not one who hates for the sake of hating and I try not to be bias in my assessments, infact (as CnC will no doubt testify to), I hate nothing more than slagging a team off with no good cause, I find it childish and I hate such comments which can't be supported with a good reasoned argument.
