Up here on the SA highveld, the turf courses get very hard during the winter (lots of frost about). It will only start to get better after it has rained (usualy towards the end of September). So racing on the sand is preferable at this time of year and not a lot of the better class horses are running on the turf on the highveld this time of year

Agree with you about Mr Top, that one and Super Boy my two outsiders in the last

I looked long and hard at Superboy and will be very surprised if it runs in the placings {raises egg shield....covers manly visage}... best outsider for me in the last is Rockinandrolling.

I would say that is a perfectly decent day at the office .... double float your selections with the field for the quartet, 5% and you catch 6 out of 8 !!....and some very decent payouts. (tu)

I short listed Super Boy straight away .... had a closer look and decided that Countess Bacardi was the right one from the stable and went with that. {shrug}... I have been wrong before and will continue to be wrong again..... and again...... and again.....

And Ninja, I'm with Magi... look pretty decent selections to me bud, obviously depends on the bets you did as to profits I guess but keep selecting like that and I'm sure returns will be forthcoming (tu)
