Septacemia is a bloody dangerous animal... my ex - boss got a splinter in his elbow whilst eating at a famous Cape Town sea food eatery .. on a Saturday evening... Sunday night he was admitted to hospital... Monday in ICU and was critical for almost two weeks and eventually recovered...losing 28kg's in the process...

Phew!! That sounds really bad Magi.
