OK, just call me PK Vee, cos i have completed my 6,5 hours study of the PE card :D

My fancies for today are...

R1 = Forest Spectrum and Special Effects. FS has run a 59.8 over todays course and distance and i think thats a good time against todays opposition. SE ran a good race last time and Nienaber had a winner for van Rensburg last week.

R2 = Texas Leather and Boardwalk Classic. TL was backed last ime and ran on nicely over 1200m.....today over the extra 200m, i think will suite. BC was backed on debut over shorter and perhaps the feedback was that he needed a little further.

R3 = I think Gollywog is a PA banker and a good EW bet in this race. Simons retains the ride and that is a good pointer for me.

R4 = Varuna and Classic Victory. Varuna ran a faster time than Madame Winter in their respective last starts. Varuna drawn better over the sprint distance, so my preference and i actually find CV a very hard horse to beat. Excellent time, good draw, Byleveld on.....all points to another PA banker in my opinion.

R5 = Fly Emirates and Camden Borough. FE was backed last time and was a little slow out of the gates. With the 4kg's off the back today and coupled with a good rider who is well worth his allowance, i think will be hard to beat. A good price and worth an EW stab. CB ran a good race and has Mile High beat with a 3kg turnaround and only carrying 49.5kg and also worth noting that she has dropped from a MR75 to a MR65, so those are my selections with a preference for FE.

R6 = Tough race and ended up going with Blaze of Fire and Havasha. BoF seems to run a good sprint race and then go over a more suitable distance with success. Today he runs over his better distance after competing and running on in a sprint race last time. I think he will go close. Havasha was bumped in his last start and norw has a nice 4kg claimer on. He was also running off a MR106 some time back and surely can crack a race one of these days off a MR89.

R7 = Tough race. Alif and Cosi Fan Tuti. Alif has a bad draw, but runs over a better distance than he did last time. I'm hoping Warren can get him over from that bad draw and have him run on at them. CFT has a nice weight to carry and comes off 2 Novice plate runs and now back into a handicap. He also hit the rail last time which couldn't have helped much.

R8 = Break of Dawn and The Magic Kingdom. BoD i have had my eye on for some time. I think she has learnt to race better now and i think she is above average. Fransie will have her just off the pace and i think she will be running at them at the death. TMK is clearly the form horse, drawn 1 over the 1400m and should be there. Not including Vivalda as the Nomenclature form has still not been franked ;)

R9 = Tough race. Follow the Light and Camancho. FTL has a good draw and the in form Muzi riding and Camancho is the form horse with a good draw as well. Unlucky in his last few starts not to have won.

Races 6,7 and 9 are the hardest in my opinion and there should be a few horses added in each leg of te exotics in my opinion. have a lovely day all. Hope yoos appreciate my time and effort here >:D<

Some useless info... in the 6th race the 15 horses have won 105 races between them... I doubt we have EVER had a Durban July or J&B Met with that same statistic.

And the 4th race is the most difficult.....
