I am with you on this one..
He has moved to greener pastures.

He can race if he wants to BUT NOT under the SA flag.
He has deserted South Africa and therefore he has abandoned all rights he had to race for SA.

Why does Mike Bass always throw him a bone in the Met and the July?

Why not put Clive rice into the Protea's cricket team for all he has done for SA cricket? Surely an up and coming youngster doesnt deserve the opportunity to compete against the worlds best

....all of this is a mute point isn't it?? They are not going to compete under the south african flag are they? I thought Larry took care of that?

Lloyd should turn it down if he cares a zot about SA racing - What about Schofield if they want LLoyd?

I believe they never asked because Schofield said he would have come. Guess what I have a problem with that asweel as he is ALSO AUSTRALIAN. Anyway I look forward to both Clive Rice and KP both playing in the same proteas team

I'm a bit confused...(like Tom Jones would say...it's not unusual) No-one is getting SA colours or whatever...it's more a case of an International invitation by the host club; surely they may invite whom they like? and I don't regard the visitors as the current worlds' best either.

If hey ( the hosts ) have their way then yes Jeff Lloyd will be getting his Sa colours and I feel that is just wrong wrong wrong It would be exactly like Kp playing fro the proteas or Jonothan Trott or any other EX SOUTH AFRICAN LLOYD cannot dispute the FACT that he is an AUSTRALIAN citizen
