Jackson was more than 2 lengths ahead of the 3rd. Jackson can see out the mile easily but VC oh so good. Me also now questioning whether VC will beat Jack in the Met?

Was also the short run in yday....Queens Plate has the long run in.......will be a bit closer. If Jackson tries to come from last in The Met it's also going to be a problem.
What a joke with the MR 68 pacemaker......was gone as the gates opened.....had no chance with VC 's gatespeed.VC just getting better and better.......VC now needs to go and compete overseas once the Cape season is over....he deserves it.

Variety Club has seemingly stepped up a level this year from his already impressive 3yo form. Jackson also ran a very good race. These two horses are a cut above the rest in SA. Variety Club has the Queens Plate at his mercy. I hope the connections have a go at the Met, because he will give Jackson a real go there. VC didn't quite stay 2000m as a 3yo, but he is a stronger, more mature horse now.
Congratulations to all concerned.

PK, he has been running on nicely in the last two and will be much better over 2000m, should be 10/1 & better for the Met. Jackson a special horse but i will stick with MPlan, backed him last Natal Season.....

(tu)totally agree....its not a matter if he will give jackson a go....can any other horse against VC rise above a 116 rating because that is needed to have a chance against the champ VC
