I agree and with 58 on his back will be a big runner and at 6,6/1 a first 4 represents good value IMO. (tu)

BOOKMAKERS seem to be expecting a replay of this year’s Investec Cape Derby when the R2.5-million J&B Met (Grade 2) is run over 2000m at Kenilworth on Saturday 2 February.
Brett Crawford-trained Jackson beat last term’s Equus Horse Of The Year Variety Club by two lengths in that race on Met Day in January and Betting World’s prices indicate that the bookmaking firm expects the result to be identical. Jackson is 2-1 favourite with Variety Club on offer at 9-2.
Pomodoro, winner of this year’s Vodacom Durban July (in which he beat Jackson by 9.50 lengths) and SA Derby, is next on the board at 5-1 and top three-year-old King Of Pain is the only other runner quoted in single figures, at 7s.
Trainer Mike de Kock, who won the race last year with Igugu, has just one horse entered – Charity Mile winner Mujaarib, who is on offer at 12-1, while this year’s SA Classic winner,
Slumdogmillionaire, is an easy-to-back 25-1 shot.
Betting World’s J&B Met betting: 2-1 JACKSON; 9-2 VARIETY CLUB; 5-1 POMODORO; 7-1 KING OF PAIN; 12-1 MUJAARIB; 14-1 TRIBAL DANCE; 20-1 BEACH BEAUTY; 25-1 ASTRO NEWS, RUN FOR IT, SLUMDOGMILLIONAIRE, TAIPAN; 33-1 AND UPWARDS OTHERS.

See Mujaarib has been backed into 8/1. I cannot have it in the Met carried 53,5 in the Summer Cup and now 58 in the Met which I believe is a division above. The only thing in its favour is Mike De Kock.
