David a no brainer.

Librado ran a 1000m on dirt in Argentina in the 1990's in 53.3s - he wasn't exactly a world beater.

Tommy Hotspur ran his fastest 1000m in 55.41, and Ruby Clipper ran her fastest 1000m in 55.65s (58kg, only filly in the race, with 2nd top weight). She won the Magnolia Hcp in soft going, carrying 62kg, in 56.66s. Having seen them work upsides, Tommy is the only horse I ever saw beat Ruby on the training tracks. It's all relative to the specific race conditions really.

Sharp Design is, in the words of Mr Ferraris, last night; "A very smart horse". You will see much more of him in the sprint features imho

Run him in the Cape Flying Championship, that will give a fair indication how good he is, then there is really not many other viable races in SA until May.
