Great ride by STRIKER, not many jockeys would of got Sparkling Saphir home like that imo...-D

can someone explain me, what a ride was that by ryan curling on black and white? is this guy punting or what? he is going 10 lenghts behind the field and doing absolutely nothing when it comes to the finish.. or am i wrong?
