Those midgies in the summer are the pits mac but I do agree that the ferry trip from Ullapool to Stornoway is nice.

Sly Princess St is the main st in Edinburgh just below the castle and a street that runs in parrellel is Rose St and is a pedestrian precinct with many pubs and worth a pub crawl
-D plus plenty bookies in between
