At the risk of being lambasted, I believe that the Current RA Board has made progress and cannot understand the aggression?

The word "aggression" might sound harsh, but the question or problem is very simple.

FACTS!

CLYDE announces the 9 nominations and states the RA is neutral, we then cross to MJ and CVN [ do you regard them as RA people?] the answer is they are acting in a "private capacity", they had chosen the 5? on what grounds or criteria? did they interview the 9 candidates? They went so far as to place ads, arrange T.V. coverage for the chosen 5, before the 9 candidates were announced or before ballot papers were sent!
I am aware the FAIR and Free election was over before it started and the votes are already in.

So I had a choice, do I voice my disappointment, or do I keep quiet with regards the injustice caused?

I will leave you with this thought, if Clyde had finished his opening statement about the RA being neutral and Bruss had said, yes Clyde but who do you think would be the best for the job? and Clyde said the 5 names, in fact, I have already paid for a full page add in Sporting Post and have them on TV next week and the other 4 have no clue what was done before the ballot papers were even posted to list the nominations, "HOWEVER THIS IS IN MY PRIVATE CAPACITY."

But still everyone has an opportunity to promote themselves as per any election. Members are not fools. They will support those who they relate too. The likes of one of the nominees with his outburst with Ernie Anderson prompts many questions as to the suitability of candidates. If there is a case where nominations were faxed in and not received, and it can be proved, which in todays age it can be, then proceed accordingly. !!!! We are one industry and we fight like cat and dog.

My thoughts are as follows: The RA is an OWNERS body. Surely OWNERS must run it. The bigger your investment the more you stand to lose. I think Jooste and CVN are a loss. I think we will regret losing them. Another of you candidates went on telly and said Racing does not need Businessmen!!!!! My shattered nerves. Scotia, You seem a top candidate but your crew worries me.
