Can't see how anyone can say that Pylon was weighted to win - on official MR (and this after Pylon failed to beat Masai Warrior at handicap terms - so it could be argued that he never ran to 110 last time) and taking the allowance into account, Pylon was definitely NOT weighted to beat the filly; imvho I think this race was set up for Pylon from the jump when the filly was not allowed to stride using her light weight - yes I'm talking from my pocket and it leaves a real sour taste in my mouth - she was never a trier :X

Anyway, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion

he failed to beat masai warrior who broke his handicap..ofcourse he ran to a 110 last time..he carried 63kgs off a 110 and ran 2nd! beating the whole field bar masai warrior..a race isnt just between 1st and 2nd

why is it when people do their money its always because the people are doing them in..jockeys or the trainers! magic smoke is not a front runner, now because it wasnt taken to the front the people are being crooked? spare me

Justin did you happen to watch Magic Smokes previous win before todays run?

That Beza was so far out of its ground but ran on nicely, follow in similar company next time...

yes i backed it that day..was very well in at the weights..couldnt believe it was 9/2 but didnt think it would win that easy..something about that race struck me as odd

I was particularly struck by your earlier comment that Magic Smoke was not a front runner or pace runner. She did win her previous start not only making the pace but going clear right after the start.

The reason for my concern was that even Azzie said afterward that he as surprised that the appy did not go to the front......

Perhaps he was playing it up a bit for the cameras, not entirely sure
